Kero

Like many Italians, I had heard about the Don Bosco Association, but in reality I did not fully know its greatness. The trip to Peru was a deeply meaningful experience, an inner journey with extraordinary human connections. The people welcomed us with incredible generosity and warmth, sharing their time, smiles, food, work and daily labors with us.The Association is a true humanitarian work, animated by individuals who dedicate themselves totally to assisting those in need. Our contribution is minimal compared to what the volunteers do, but for me it has been a deeply rewarding and enriching experience. I sincerely hope that my project can help raise awareness of this reality and, of course, raise much-needed funds to support their activities.

Simplicity, durability, and decorative appeal are hallmarks of Peruvian craftsmanship, as is color. Traditionally, decorative carvings adorn the surfaces of the panels, communicating the artisan's skill and lending uniqueness to the piece. Kero are a series of low tables by exclusively assembling modules of starting dimensions 30x30cm, the edges of which are carved with a wide mark, thus transforming the gesture from a mere application to a protagonist. The different composition of the 3 panels gives rise to four variants of coffee tables with decorated edges and another four without decorations, but embellished by the use of colored anilines.
